Aston Martin stated that they will be equipping the DB9 with the new Caparo high-performance brake upgrade package. This new package offer uses the technology that was originally produced for the Caparo T1 hypercar and will offer a better experience for drivers. It will help to reduce the amount of wear and tear from the regular heavy braking and cuts down on the distance it takes to stop.

Despite many of the rumors that have been floating around on the Internet Aston Martin is not up for sale. David Richards – Prodrive boss and the company chairman – stated, “This speculation is only there because we are talking to people all the time about engines. But we are always talking to people, and it doesn’t mean we’re for sale,” Richards said during this weekend’s Nurburgring 24hr race, where his N24 Vantages finished first, second and third in their class. “The company is not for sale,” he insisted.
