An Aston Martin DEB5 That Runs On Cheese And Wine
Prince Charles of England is the proud owner of an Aston Martin DEB5 - which as many of us know is the same model that Sean Connery used in Goldfinger. However, his car is more unique because he runs on ethanol that is produced from white wine and cheese by product.
The Aston Martin was a gift from Queen Elizabeth to her first son on his 21st birthday and Charles, an enthusiastic environmentalist decided to convert it. Not only the Aston Martin though, the Prince decided to convert his entire auto park: two Jaguars, two Audis, and a Range Rover that all run on used food based oil.
Sir Michael Peat, a secretary of the heir to the throne, explained that the wine used came from near Highgrove, his residence in Wiltshire (the wine was leftover from the British wine makers that had reached UE production limits for the year).
